How-do-you-do all and thank you in advance for your advice!

I am currently building a gaming motorcar for a very specific purpose. This car will run 14 Eve Online ( specs ) accounts at the same time using IsBoxer.

I am not worried about uber graphics, this is a function over fassion mission. I volition turn everything down to optimize FPS and minimize lag.

I am going to use the recent tomshardware two.4k peoples option PC as a template ( http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/system-architect-marathon-pc-overclocking,3771.html )

My question is ... given that my goal is to run equally many game clients as possible should I opt to upgrade to a 6core CPU/MB . If so which should I buy. Or is that totally overkill?

Also, if i choose to get with 64mb ram should I employ the aforementioned company or is in that location another suggested that has a 64mb set?

Finally is there anything about this build that I might want to change in the interest of my goals?

Thanks so much!

Wow distressing I was away so long >.<
Um I've not had much experience with loftier-cease motherboards but I can suggest that apart from sli/crossfire compatibility I've not seen much divergence. Mayhap for overclocking enthusiasts, the voltage control might exist a consideration, and besides a motherboard that supports loftier frequency ram, only I think for your cause a cheaper mobo is fine.

Also, yes you should be able to overclock the i7. Any water cooler worth it'due south salt will permit you overclock quite a scrap, and that one seems to be quite popular so i'd suggest it volition allow for expert/large overclocks.

I would suggest a more multiple core cpu. For such a purpose I might suggest an intel xeon for more than multitasking.
While the i7 is very capable, ideally y'all desire ane core per window, and 6 cores doesn't even allow for ane core per 2 windows.
Expect for ane of the intel xeon 12 core cpus I might suggest. however the i7 *could* work, i'grand not sure of the specifics of multiple eve windows.

(I assume you mean 64GB ram non mb)
Also I would suggest that while EVE will use a lot of ram, 4gb should be plenty for one window, so 4x14=56gb could perchance be the total ram use so I do suggest that 64gb ram is enough.

Many companies offering 64gb ram sets. Ensure you have a motherboard with 8 ram slots and buy 8 8gb sticks. I might suggest corsair or Kingston for ram.

with the above CPU exercise you thing the cpu watercooling kit that is used in the OP setup is enough to OC this 6core cpu?

I have done a piffling more research and co-ordinate to their youtube videos, folks are 12boxing with i5 setups. And so i am comfortable that I will be in the overkill range with an i7 6core!

Um I've not had much experience with loftier-end motherboards but I can suggest that autonomously from sli/crossfire compatibility I've not seen much difference. Perhaps for overclocking enthusiasts, the voltage control might be a consideration, and also a motherboard that supports high frequency ram, but I call back for your cause a cheaper mobo is fine.

Also, yeah yous should be able to overclock the i7. Whatsoever water cooler worth it'south salt will permit you overclock quite a bit, and that one seems to be quite popular so i'd suggest it will permit for good/large overclocks.

12 boxing eve with an i5 has him playing at a mere 5-10fps.
